The End Of An Era!

The time has come - well nearly, we leave in 4 days time and so this is to be the final post on "The Ecuador Experience" - sad but true. The video is a quick little recap of our time here (Warning - it is  quite long - about 12 minutes - but then again 4 years have been condensed into  just 12 minutes, so I didn't do too bad really!)
Thank you everyone who has commented over the years - and others who have loyally read and watched our adventures - we hope in some small way to have helped any who have been thinking about serving where the need is great.
So if you can be bothered checking out the video - I would recommend grabbing a cup of coffee first - hopefully it doesn't put you to sleep.

Adios, Zai jian and Goodbye

Well, it really is sad for all of us who have enjoyed your experiences and life in Ecuador through your blog. Thank you so much for taking the time to share and encourage! May Jehovah continue to bless you both no matter where you are serving. I have no doubts that you will continue to "Bloom Where You are Planted" Best wishes and safe journey.

Awwww! Definitivamente voy a extrañar cada uno de sus posts...realmente fueron muy animadores. Lo mejor de todo es que Jehová no olvida lo que han logrado hacer en Ecuador por...wow 4 años! Que tengan un buen viaje de regreso.

I needed a box of tissues to get through this one! Thank you for helping us to have a taste of being a need-greater in a foreign assignment, and thank you for being part of our lives these past few years through your blog. We know that Jehovah's blessing will be with you as you continue your wholesouled service back in New Zealand. Come visit us in the states. Lots of love, Bev

We've enjoyed your blog very much and it has given us a look into a needgreater's life in Ecuador. I agree with Deb that you will bloom where you are planted and Jehovah will continue to bless you. I know your family in New Zealand will be happy to see you. Thanks again for all your hard work and example.

I am so happy that I found your blog, although a little late. I suppose Jehovah lead me to it because my husband and I are thinking about Ecuador now that we are close to receiving our retirement. I'm excited to see what life is like there for Jehovah's people especially those in the full-time service.

Hi!
I have followed your blog for about one and a half year. I have only made one comment before (too bad, but I just didn´t know what to say and my English is not so good) but now I had to say something. You have done such a good work and I´m sure you will continue with that. Your blog has been a light in some dark moments. Just wanted you to know that. And may Jehovah bless you wherever you serve. Thank you for have shared your days in Ecuador!

Love from your sister Petra Karlsson in Sweden.
