Mark and I went to serve in Ecuador as needgreaters in 2008. Our daughter Amanda joined us in 2010 and is serving in the Chinese group in Cuenca. Aaron, our son has also taken on the challenge of learning the language and culture of this beautiful land and arrived in July 2011.
We had to return to New Zealand in 2012 but have arranged things to be able to return to Ecuador August 2013
I can't believe this. You were only a little over an hour away from where we live in central pa. We know Chad and Michele. Were the Amish new to you or do you have them in New Zealand? What Kingdom Hall did you visit? I love your posts. Sally from central PA
Hi Sally - you live in a very pretty part of the world, we loved it there. I think we went to the Lebanon Cong but everything is such a blur now, I can't really remember. I knew about the Amish from movies, books etc so I really wanted to go and visit the area. Michele's family took care of us and showed us all around. Fascinating stuff. Thank you for your comment - appreciated knowing someone reads my ramblings.
