nice opinion, thanks for sharing...
When we were in Mexico I learned from another guest that when they went to the grocery store by bus they took along a suitcase on wheels and put everything in it to come home. It held quite a lot and was easy to roll along. Just a thought. Enjoy your blog. We know Michele and Chad from home in PA.
That is such a good idea Sally - why didn't I think of that??? Thanks for your input and I won't hold it against you that you know Chad and Michele (hehe - Just kidding Michele!)
Saludos
Evening Beth, good catch up and what about those crawly insects um. Hope your back improves soon Shelley Theunissen Welcome bay Congregation...
Hey!! What absolutely beautiful sunsets! So sorry to hear about your back :-( Hope you get to feeling better... LOVE the fact that you get to wear flip-flops (or what do you call them?)all the time. You look like you are on permanent vacation! Although I know it isn't that way at all :-) Miss you guys heaps. ALL the brothers and sisters in Arenal always ask about you both and send their love.
Thanks Michele and Shelley - feeling very sorry for myself at the mo - my back slowly getting better, enough so I could go out in service for an hour then bang - I get gripe! Blaming my son for leaving me with that.
Just so everyone knows - flip flops in NZ are called Jandles (why, I have no idea - but it is better than what the Aussies call them - Thongs!)
Saludos a todos xxx
Yes a suitcase with wheels or even a rucksack really helps me out when the grocery store is far away. Also for your bad back you should try an adjustable bed - they really help soothe the pain and you sleep in a custom position that helps you sleep better.
Awesome photos. The beach party looked like fun. :)
Hi Beth Graeme wants to know how much all those groceries cost you?
You should have taken the bag that Sharon took to wellington (you know the Margaret Asser type one) back with you to use for shopping. By the way Sharon what ever happened to htat bag?
ok so at the grocery shop - we spent $29.00 and the lb of prawns $1.50, fruit and veg $9.00! And man that trolley thing would be the best here - oh actually on second thoughts, it might be a little difficult to get on and off the bus with it! Our goal is to try and get a car anyway though, because the territory here is so strung out - getting back to calls is almost impossible - so to be effective in the ministry, its pretty important to have wheels. The rate we are going though - the money will only stretch to a pushbike!
That bag is at Mum's house and I asked her to bring it back to you in Tauranga. It would be perfect over there, just need to find someone to take it there.
