Mark and I went to serve in Ecuador as needgreaters in 2008. Our daughter Amanda joined us in 2010 and is serving in the Chinese group in Cuenca. Aaron, our son has also taken on the challenge of learning the language and culture of this beautiful land and arrived in July 2011.
We had to return to New Zealand in 2012 but have arranged things to be able to return to Ecuador August 2013

Grandad and his new Grandpuppy
Ryan and Lizi brought their new baby to meet us. Of course Mark became friends very fast with her! I think Pipi liked her grandad!
PS Michele - you have been speaking spanish too long - the i in Pipi is not pronounced e - so with our Kiwi accent it is PIPY as in PIPPY LONGSTOCKING! But it is pretty funny cause she can sure do a lot of peepees!
Hahahaha That is really funny! Thanks for the explanation Beth...you are right! I was pronouncing it like spanish...pippy is much better than peepee! hahahahaha
