Mark has a friend that lives up on the hill behind our building and his name (according to Mark) is "HOS". Doesn't he look tragic though - if this poor fellow was back in New Zealand, someone would be going to jail for treating him bad. Mark gives him carrots as we walk past in the morning so he is always excited when we walk by and the other day - Mark had to go and save his life when he fell down the bank and could not get back on his feet. I wouldn't say Hos was fortunate we were home though because it might have been a way out of his misery!

There is no getting away from it is there Mark you are very kind to animals. I guess it wont be long and you will have him lying on his back and you will be tickling his tummy
Sad! Animals are such a low priority for some people - I wonder how Hos' owner would like to be treated like that! (And I wouldn't give him - the owner - any carrots!).
Poor Hos! He's lucky to have a friend like U. Mark. :)
Catherine - he has already done that!
hmmmm not nice at all the poor thing
Mark please bring Hoss home with you as we can fatten him up with plenty of good grass otherwise he will be in horse heaven when you return. So do the right thing by him,and he is most really greatful to you already just imagine if he ends up in tepuna he will love you forever.
