Great excitement in the family James household today when we received our first letter in the post - from Ann, Graeme and Mum. Thanks guys - it was very cool to actually see something in the box for a change and of course actually read it! When did you post it? (Just so we know how long it took)

Wow that is exciting - to finally get mail
It must have been sent on the back of a snail!
To take so long was really a big surprise
Bet when you saw, it you couldn't believe your eyes
But we are glad that it got there -even if it was slow
To see the delight on your face makes 3 hearts all aglow.
We posted that away the second week of the month just past
So pleased that you gave you a thrill and a blast!

Yes it was great to see their faces excited, your rhyme has made me so delighted!
The writing of poems is not doing ya brain in as you said at the start,the most important thing is what comes from the heart!
Beth looked like a school girl recieving the letter, Mark savors it like great coffee that makes him feel much better!

I am showing my age you all may say, just when I was getting use to yesterday along came today!
