Mark and I went to serve in Ecuador as needgreaters in 2008. Our daughter Amanda joined us in 2010 and is serving in the Chinese group in Cuenca. Aaron, our son has also taken on the challenge of learning the language and culture of this beautiful land and arrived in July 2011.
We had to return to New Zealand in 2012 but have arranged things to be able to return to Ecuador August 2013

Poor Hos won't be coming home with us to eat Te Puna grass and get fat. Sadly but thankfully he died during the night - we had to watch all day yesterday as he got weaker and weaker - and there was nothing we could do.
Sorry for you both that you had to watch HOS die slowly. Thankfully he does not have to suffer anymore. HOS would had appreciated what kindness Mark and you gave to him in the last days of his life. arohanuixxx

Poor Hos
Very sad news Beth. At least he is out of his misery.
When his owner comes to deal with Hos' body - shoot him! No, better yet - tie him up and don't feed him!
